2022: The Little Way: Practicing Christ’s Love for the Life of the World

RESOURCES

Sam Wells and William Cavanaugh graciously provided manuscripts for their respective plenary talks for the 2022 Gathering.

WHEN/WHERE

This Gathering was held on July 7-9 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

THEME

In a time when efficiency and scale are worshiped, during this summer's Gathering we want to learn from the “little way” of Jesus.

Why would we imitate his descent, servant leadership, love of the marginalized, and cross-shaped path? What small practices are crucial to our identities as disciples and beloved children of God? How do such practices relate to a world suffering injustice, conflict, and a climate crisis? Through the practice of “unlikely friendships,” we hope to encourage each other in Jesus’ little way of love.
