The best opportunity for in-person connection is at the annual Ekklesia Gathering. Please consider joining us in Indianapolis this July!

Throughout the year, members of the EP community engage one another in various online venues—primarily on Zoom and Substack—including conversations about the lectionary and about articles on EP-related topics, in book studies, through lectio divina centered on the lectionary, and in evening prayer (details below). Come meet friends you didn’t know you had.

CONNECT

EVENING PRAYER

Every Thursday at 9p.m. ET we gather on Zoom to listen to scripture and pray with friends. Together we bring the world's needs and our personal needs to God. If you would like to join us, register here.

BOOK CLUB

Members of the EP community gather in reading groups to connect and learn more together. A recent group explored William T. Cavanaugh’s important book The Uses of Idolatry. A future study is being planned for Rodney Clapp’s Living Out of Control: Political and Personal Faith in Waning Christendom. These groups are for everyone: no academic expertise required! If you would like more information when our next group is forming please register here.

Leading up to our gathering this July we will host two groups focusing on the theme for the year, “Sustaining Witness: Faithful Resistance in Troubled Times”. Two of our plenary speakers, Stephen Fowl and Kelly Johnson, have offered us some readings and resources to get us thinking about what they plan to share and to prepare us well to be good hearers come July. If you would like to join us for one or both of these conversations on June 1 or June 29 at 4:30- 5:30pm EDT, please register here.
