“Are We There Yet?”
What if slow church is the Spirit’s call, not to move over into the slow lane or take longer to “do things”, but to rediscover the timefulness of God’s redemption of creation? What if slow church is the Spirit’s call to dwell in apocalyptic time and place? What if Jesus’ “slowness” in coming to Bethany as Lazarus was dying reveals to us the way of discipleship for today? To what then are we called as witnesses and participants?
