Nekeisha Alexis-Baker has served two terms on the Ekklesia Project board, worked on Gathering planning teams, and preached at our footwashing service. She is a graduate of Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary, with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. She is also an organizer with Jesus Radicals, a network of radical Christians and anarchists, and a long-time participant in The Ekklesia Project. In 2008, she had only missed a gathering to be the bride at her wedding. She is a graphic designer, vegan, card-maker and anti-racism advocate. She is married to fellow EP endorser Andy Alexis-Baker and looks forward to meeting new people and seeing old friends each year at the gathering.
